Occupational Therapist – Band 5/6
Location: Crewe
Duration: Asap start for 3 months.
Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:30
TTM Healthcare Solutions are currently recruiting for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate should have experience in acute medicine, NHS and ward work and with patients with various disabilities and conditions including chest infections, frailty, acute kidney injury and falls. The role will involve assessing patients’ needs and developing treatment plans to help them improve their quality of life. The candidate should be able to work independently, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assessing patients’ needs and developing treatment plans – Implementing therapy interventions – Evaluating treatment effectiveness and modifying plans as required – Working with patients to improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being – Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care – Maintaining accurate patient records
Requirements:
– Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy – Current HCPC registration – Experience working with patients with various disabilities and conditions – Excellent communication skills – Ability to work independently and as part of a team – Good record-keeping skills – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
