Job Title: Agency Band 3 Healthcare Assistant
Location: Northern Health and Social care Trust
Job Description:
We are seeking a temporary Band 3 Healthcare Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality care and support to patients, under the direction of qualified nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting patients with personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting
– Serving meals and helping patients with eating and drinking
– Observing and reporting changes in patients’ conditions
– Assisting with mobility and transfers
– Maintaining accurate records and documentation
– Communicating effectively with patients, families and healthcare professionals
Skills and Experience:
– Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant
– NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well as part of a team
– Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and nights
