Job Title: Temporary Band 3 HCA

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a temporary Band 3 HCA to join our healthcare team in Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community care centers.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting with the delivery of patient care under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals
– Taking and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse rate
– Assisting with the monitoring and recording of fluid balance and nutritional intake
– Providing personal care to patients, such as washing, dressing, and toileting
– Supporting patients with mobility and physical activities
– Assisting with the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for patients
– Communicating effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals
Skills and Qualifications:
– NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
– Experience working in a healthcare setting
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well as part of a team
– Good organizational and time management skills
– Flexible approach to work
– Understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection
– Knowledge of infection prevention and control measures
This is a temporary position, and the successful candidate will be offered an hourly rate in line with the Band 3 pay scale.
